5. Gympie Street North – Variation on TMR Proposal – Jeff Harris
Unable to attend meeting, but concerned about above proposal diverting traffic to Myla Road.
Myla Road had a traffic count of average 1100 vehicles per day about a year ago. When you add current traffic to and from Tunnel Ridge Road and Tytherleigh Court it will create chaos at the school - corner of Myla Road and Gympie Street North. This corner already has limited visibility (for vehicles) to east and west from Myla Road and many vehicles using Cribb Street.
Maybe consider traffic lights at the school corner if looking at this proposal??
